Welcome to English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary School

English Martyrs’, formed in 1965, is a Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School in the Diocese of Nottingham. It is maintained by Derbyshire County Council and admits children between the ages of 4 and 11 years.

Our vision is to educate children in the spirit of the Gospel Values and the traditions of the Catholic Church, nurturing the talents and potential of each individual.

Parents and visitors to our School comment on the warm and friendly welcome they receive. We aim for every child to have a happy and vibrant education at English Martyrs’; one that is caring and supportive, working in a stimulating and structured environment, where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.
